Henri Everest Telfer

Born - Thursday 8th December 1927
Died  - Friday 8th January 1999
at the age of 71

Husband, father of nine: six boys and three girls. Grandfather of twenty-three. Henry was  a member of the Trinidad Art Society, Diploma School of Art and Design, Montreal Museum of Fine Art.
He exhibited in three one man shows locally and exhibited also in Spain and Zeea Republic. He also participated in Special National Exhibitions such as Carifesta and Trinidad Art Society's annual November exhibition.

Henri Telfer was self employed as a Designer and Graphic Artist. Creator of Insignia, Logos, Illustrations, Costume and Set Designs, Trade Fan-Booths, Furniture etc.

Henri Telfer studied under Sybil Atteck, Helen Turner, Pierre Lelong, at the Trinidad Art Society and in Canada under under Carl Dair, Elden Grier, Gordon Webber and Arthur Lismer at the School of Art and Design, Montreal. He graduated in 1951 with a Diploma in Fine Art.
