Tonia St Cyr Workshop
On September 15, 2006, Tonia gave a talk and conducted a small workshop for 20 Students from St Anthony's College at The 101 Artgallery. This workshop was held during her current exhibition at the gallery and the students were able to view the exhibition and could see what an artist can achieve with paper collage.
The boys asked very relative and stimulating questions. At the end she gave them a very basic exercise in tearing paper and it was 100% successful. Then, do you know what they did??? They asked their teacher to distract her and they collaged "THANKS TONIA"!!!!!!! and spread it on the centre table!!!!
Tonia said she was very touched; it was one of her sweetest memories from this exhibtion so far!
